​About The Artist!

My name is Shannon. I have been an artist since  I was three years old. I learned most of my artistic skills from my grandfather who is an oil painter. I started painting, drawing, and sculpting at a young age and learned quickly. My ability to paint and draw came naturally to me. I am currently a student working to get my Associates Degree then transfer to get my Bachelors Degree in Fine arts and Psychology. Next I will work towards getting my MFT, from there I will study to receive my PHD in Holistic treatment. I have experience in face painting from working for Kaman's Art Shop as a face painter. While working for Kaman's I have become a better Artist. I came to realize it is a challenge to paint on a moving canvas, but I am always up for the challenge. Once I have finished I step back and take in the art I just created. I earned an award for the most improved face painter. I also worked at a studio called Fun Dabbles where we do arts and crafts and host birthday parties. Being creative runs through my blood, I love what I do and hope to share my passion. I am  a true Artist at heart.
